You were the design director at Gastronomica?? I mourn the passing of that publication. It was so good, editorially and in its design. (Brava!). I once made a fish swimming in an aquarium of aspic to illustrate an article by Jeremy Parzen about the 16th century cookbook author Maestro Martino.

I was indeed, Victoria. I launched Gastronomica with the founding editor, Darra Goldstein, and she and I worked side-by-side on it until we both stepped down in 2013. It was such a good project, and Darra was a wonderful partner. And you would be the first person I'd call if anyone asked for an aquarium of aspic, so that seems totally fitting.
